Biomass Users Network (BUN-CA)

BUN-CA is a regional non-governmental organization (NGO), legally established since 1991 and headquartered in San José, Costa Rica. The Foundation operates in Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama with an integral approach to:

• Encourage the efficient use of natural resources for sustainable energy development and environment conservation (soil, water and air).
• Promote the creation of job sources, stimulate the growth of the national economies, and support regional economic integration by means of the efficient use of energy.
• Empower Central America countries to provide mutual support through horizontal cooperation for developing sustainable energy projects and regional programs.
