Institute for International Relations

The Institute for International Relations (IMO) is a public research institute which carries out theoretical and applied research of international economic, cultural, environmental and political relations, international exchanges and cooperation and the global, regional and national development processes of interest for the Republic of Croatia. IMO conducts research with the support of the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and participates in international research projects funded by the European Commission (FP6, FP7, CARDS, PHARE, TEMPUS, IPA) and other international organizations (the World Bank, OECD, EBRD, NATO, UNDP, UNSECO).

IMO's Mission
To acquire, transfer and develop exceptional knowledge related to contemporary international economic, political and cultural relations, as well as current global, national and regional development processes of interest for the Republic of Croatia.
IMO's Vision
To become a European research institution – a centre of excellence in the field of international relations and sustainable development.
