Pacific Gender Climate Coalition

The Pacific Gender Climate Coalition aims to support a network of individuals, organisations and institutions working towards enhancing and harmonizing a collective voice for gender and climate change issues in the Pacific; encourages information sharing and media literacy as a tool for empowering Pacific people on climate change issues taking into consideration cultural issues; lobby to ensure outcomes, statements and linkages with relevant regional and global climate change commitments and climate change projects and research studies focusing on Pacific communities.

Purpose of Organization:

The Pacific Gender Climate Coalition was set up with the objective for Pacific Islands people, inclusive of those with disabilities, to act as partners to mitigate and adapt to climate change taking into consideration gender and cultural issues.

A regional organisation Pacific Gender Climate Coalition, which I co-founded has since phased out since I move here 3 years ago. Can we be remove from the GEF-CSO network?
